Home jersey Mexico 1980's
Throughout his long career, Brazilian legend Pele has dazzled and inspired wherever he has played around the globe for Santos, New York Cosmos or Brazil. For many opponents, the most memorable moment of their career was sharing a pitch with this great man and, for a privileged few, swapping jerseys with him at the end of a game. The most photographed 20th century icon of the sport ended his career with a wide selection of opposing team and national team jerseys from his various travels. In particular, he wore a Mexican jersey to a charity match in the 1980s. Mexico was of course a country very close to Pele's heart as the scene of his third World Cup victory with Brazil in 1970.
