Home jersey Scotland 1960's
Very much in keeping with its modern history, Scotland could beat the best in the world on their good days while on their bad days they could lose to the worst. A nation that could recruit world-class players at will from top English clubs, a European Cup-winning Celtic side and a strong Rangers side were still struggling to muster the teamwork and consistency needed to qualify for major tournaments. The victories in 1962 and 1963 at British Home International brought little consolation to what was considered a decade of underperformance.
