Bream Feeder - 2kg (S0770007)Bream fishing in commercial fisheries and natural sites is becoming increasingly popular in the UK and Europe, so we have developed a groundbait that is perfectly suited to the modern bream angler.The Bream Feeder is made by grinding up fish pellets, fishmeal and corn ingredients, all of which are proven baits for bream. They are ground up to leave larger particles that will stay on the bottom while the school of bream sift through the bait looking for the larger particles, which means the school stays feeding longer, it also creates more competition and therefore more chances to be caught. Since the larger particles are heavy, they also fall to the bottom of the lake, which helps to keep the feeding area going longer. Mixing TipsBream Feeder is simple to mix. For most fishing situations, empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-quart maggot pan with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then let it sit for 30 minutes, during which time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. For best results, to remove lumps and create a smooth consistency, strain the primer through a sieve and it is ready to use. Bream Feeder can be mixed to suit a number of different fishing situations, for a light and fluffy mix for close work with a cage feeder you can mix it fairly dry by adding about 1 1/2 pints of water to a two kilo bag, if you want a firmer mix use 2 pints of water to mix a two kilo bag and you'll have a perfect mix for the cage feeder, bullet feeder, method feeder or just ball it up on the rod or waggler. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a wet towel, or if it dries out, just add a little more water and mix again.
