We use hundreds of thousands of liters of water every year to produce the classic version of the bottle, and while we have drastically reduced this with the concentrated version, there are still ways to do better for the environment and take another step forward!
In line with the Project Green program, Muc-Off is always looking for innovative solutions to reduce the use of plastic, water and carbon footprint. That's why they decided to give Muc-Off Bike Cleaner, their flagship product, a brand new shape and a reusable aluminum bottle!
The challenge was to retain the technologies of the liquid Bike Cleaner and transform them into a high-tech powder using a very different chemical process requiring tons ofinnovations.
The brief was to create a product that was 100% plastic and water free, using plant based ingredients to minimize petrochemical processes. From the vegetable inks used for printing to the biodegradable packaging, powder and a recycled aluminum bottle, every element of the development was defined to ensure its sustainability.
