Gluten-free flour blend for tortillas, not just tortillas!
The BioTechUSA Tortilla Baking Mix flour blend is gluten-free and suitable for vegan diets that allow you to make tortillas or, if you are more into Greek cuisine, pita breads to accompany gyros.
Rice flour, sunflower seed flour and corn starch form the basis of this flour mixture, but it has also been enriched with bamboo fiber and ispaghul seed powder. Fenugreek and oregano add a spicy touch to the taste of the tortilla or pita.
Apart from this flour mixture, all you need is a little instant yeast, oil and warm water. Mix the ingredients well, then let the dough rest and work it in before putting it in the oven. Prepare a filling or stuffing as desired, and boost it with a Zero Sauce if you want an original flavor.
