WTB VIGILANT - TRITEC (3 DENSITY TIRE) The WTB tubeless ready Vigilante Tritec tires have been redesigned to be used on wider rims.
The Vigilante's side knobs are more pronounced to plant faster and deeper.
The new tire introduces a blend of 3 different compounds called Tritec.
The center knobs are spaced apart to ensure easier removal.
Technical details :
- Tritec rubber (TT): The three rubber compounds used in the concept called TriTec provide, traction, support and durability. To achieve this, the three compounds are not used uniformly throughout the design of the tyre. A dense first layer quickly provides a common base and rises slightly in the studs to prevent too much deformation in support. A second intermediate layer is positioned over the center lugs for durability and pedaling efficiency. Finally, a third siping density is limited to the side cleats for maximum grip, while minimizing the effects of rebound.
- Slash Guard (SG): Nylon insert that protects the sides, without increasing the tire. TCS Tough Tires reinforced double ply ideal for hard use. TCS Light Tires the lightest of the range. High grip: version with softer tyres offering maximum traction.
- Fast rolling: ideal version for those who are looking for a tire that lasts over time. TCS tires ready for tubeless.
