Our selection of Argentinian Clubs brings together the shirts of the two giants of Buenos Aires: away shirts from Boca Juniors and DNA training pants, home and away shirts from River Plate, for fans of Argentinian football and the Superclásico.
The passion for Argentinian football.
Argentinian football is one of the most passionate in the world, and its peak is the Superclásico, the match between Boca Juniors and River Plate, the two most popular clubs in Buenos Aires. Boca plays at the Bombonera, a stadium with towering stands that seem to shake under the chants, while River plays at the Monumental, the largest stadium in the country. These two clubs have nurtured or hosted many legends, from Diego Maradona at Boca to talents who passed through River before heading to Europe.
Argentinian clubs are categorized by club:
The other championships also feature Brazilian clubs, MLS, Portuguese clubs, Dutch clubs, Turkish clubs, on the other clubs page.
The shirt of Boca Juniors is blue with a horizontal yellow stripe: according to legend, these colors come from the flag of a Swedish ship seen in the port of La Boca. The shirt of River Plate is white, crossed by a diagonal red stripe, the famous banda roja. The collection includes Boca's away shirts and River's home and away shirts, as well as Boca's DNA training pants, for sports and everyday wear.
Shirts are available in a supporter version, with a comfortable fit, in your usual size or one size up for a looser fit. The technical fabrics wick away sweat and dry quickly. To preserve the colors and badges, wash shirts inside out at thirty degrees, without fabric softener, and dry them on a hanger rather than in the tumble dryer. These shirts also make great gifts for fans of South American football and collectors.

According to tradition, the club's founders, in the port of La Boca, adopted the colors of the first ship to enter the port: a Swedish boat, hence the blue and yellow of the Swedish flag.
It is the derby between Boca Juniors and River Plate, the two most popular clubs in Argentina, both born in the La Boca neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. River then moved north of the city, which fuels the rivalry.
River Plate plays at the Monumental, in the Núñez neighbourhood, the largest stadium in the country. It hosted the final of the 1978 World Cup, won by Argentina against the Netherlands.
Diego Maradona, champion of Argentina with Boca in 1981, Juan Román Riquelme and Carlos Tevez are among the idols of the Bombonera. All have marked the history of the club and Argentinian football.
Take your usual size for a classic fit, one size up for a looser style or to wear over a sweatshirt. Then wash it inside out and in cold water to preserve the badge and the colours.
