Total football, from Amsterdam to the world.
The Eredivisie, the championship of the Netherlands, is known for its attacking play and player development: Dutch clubs reveal young talents each year who then move on to the bigger leagues. Three clubs dominate its history, Ajax Amsterdam, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord Rotterdam, the first Dutch club champion of Europe in 1970. The Klassieker, between Ajax and Feyenoord, is the passionate highlight of the Dutch season.
Dutch clubs are organised by club:
Other leagues are represented by Belgian clubs, Portuguese clubs, Scottish clubs, Brazilian clubs, MLS, on the other clubs page.
Founded in 1900, Ajax revolutionised football in the early 1970s with total football, where every player can take on all positions, as embodied by Johan Cruyff. The club then won three consecutive European Cup titles in 1971, 1972 and 1973, followed by a fourth in 1995 with a squad developed at the club. Its training centre, De Toekomst, meaning the future, is one of the most prestigious in the world. They play at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
Ajax's home kit, white with a wide vertical red stripe in the centre, is one of the most recognisable in football. The supplier adidas outfits the club and designs a third kit each year in more free colours, often inspired by the culture of Amsterdam. The prematch shirt, track jackets and windbreakers complete the set, in adult and child sizes. One washes the shirt inside out, at thirty degrees.

Its youth academy has produced generations of players, from Johan Cruyff to Dennis Bergkamp, who are now trained at the centre De Toekomst, meaning the future in Dutch. The club teaches an attacking style of play based on technique.
It is white, with a wide vertical red stripe in the centre, a design that stands out among all. The third kit, however, changes in colour and design with each collection.
