Our selection of Boca Juniors includes two away shirts adidas from the Argentine club and a training pant from the DNA line, to wear the blue and yellow of the Xeneizes far from Buenos Aires. A club that was born in 1905 in the port district of La Boca, where the Bombonera shakes under the chants of its supporters, and one of the most popular in South America.
The blue and yellow of La Boca.
Boca Juniors was born on 3 April 1905 in the port area of La Boca, Buenos Aires, founded by young Italian immigrants. Many came from Genoa, hence the nickname Xeneizes, the Genoese in their dialect. According to the club's account, the founders adopted the blue and yellow from the flag of the first ship to enter the port, a Swedish boat: a horizontal gold stripe runs across the blue shirt. The club still embodies the popular identity of this dockers district, with the colourful houses of Caminito.

Boca's stadium, officially Estadio Alberto J. Armando, is nicknamed Bombonera, the chocolate box, due to its shape: with limited space in the neighbourhood, three stands rise almost vertically and the fourth is just a thin building of boxes. Inaugurated on 25 May 1940 with a victory against San Lorenzo, it places the audience right by the pitch, and its stands physically vibrate on big nights. This is where the Superclásicos are played at home against River Plate, its historical rival, which also originated in La Boca before moving to the north of the city.
adidas has dressed Boca since 2020, after previously supplying the club from 1979 to 1993, a period that includes Diego Maradona's first spell in 1981. The home shirt remains blue, featuring its gold stripe, while the away shirt changes in colour and pattern over the seasons, adding interest to two successive models. The training pants belong to the DNA line, which the brand adapts for major clubs: fitted cut, soft mesh and club badge, suitable for both training and everyday wear.

Boca has won the Copa Libertadores in 1977, 1978, 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2007, as well as the Intercontinental Cup in 1977, 2000 and 2003. In 2000, they defeated Real Madrid in Tokyo to claim this world title.
Diego Maradona, who joined the club in 1981 and then again from 1995 to 1997, remains the most famous supporter. Juan Román Riquelme, playmaker of the 2000s, and Martín Palermo, a prolific scorer, are also among the idols of the Bombonera.
The supporter version of the shirt fits normally: take your usual size for a classic fit. Choose a size up if you like to wear your shirt loose or over a long-sleeve top.
Turn it inside out and wash it at a maximum of thirty degrees, without fabric softener, which clogs the technical fibres. Let it air dry instead of using a tumble dryer, and never iron directly on the badge or the prints.
Yes, its fitted cut and soft mesh make them comfortable both for training and for moving around. Its club-coloured details are enough to show your support for Boca without wearing the shirt.
