Our selection of Corinthians SC includes the home white shirt and the away black shirt of the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, both made by Nike, to support the Timão from São Paulo. A club founded by workers in 1910, supported by the Fiel, one of the largest fanbases in Brazil, and club world champion in 2000 and then again in 2012.
The black and white of Timão.
The Sport Club Corinthians Paulista was founded on 1st September 1910 in the Bom Retiro neighbourhood of São Paulo by five workers excited by the tour of Corinthian FC, an amateur English club that had just dominated the local teams. Born away from the elite that controlled Paulista football at the time, it became the people's club: its supporters, the Fiel, the faithful, number in the millions. In the 1980s, the Corinthian Democracy, led by Sócrates, allowed players to vote on the group's affairs during a military dictatorship.
Brazilian clubs are also varied:
All the clubs are gathered on the Brazilian clubs page.
Corinthians won the first FIFA Club World Championship in January 2000 in Brazil, beating Vasco da Gama on penalties at the Maracanã. In 2012, it finally secured its first Copa Libertadores, without losing a match, against Boca Juniors in the final, then triumphed in December in Japan against Chelsea, one-nil, with a header from Paolo Guerrero. Since 2014, the club has played at the Neo Química Arena in the Itaquera neighbourhood, built for the World Cup and the venue for the Brazil-Croatia opening match.
The home jersey of Timão is white, worn with black shorts, and the away jersey features black as its dominant colour: two shades that capture the club's entire identity. Nike has been the supplier since 2003, one of the longest partnerships in Brazilian football. Our selection offers both jerseys in a classic cut, for both the stadium and the city.
Bargains can also be found in the bargains, promotions, clearance, sales, Black Friday. The new arrivals showcase the latest collections, and the items shipped in 24h are prepared and dispatched within 24 hours. The year's highlights follow a consistent order: the Black Friday at the end of autumn, the end-of-year holidays, the winter sales, the French Days in spring, followed by summer sales and the back-to-school period.
Timão is a diminutive of time, which means the team in Brazilian Portuguese: the word means the big team. Supporters use it as much as the official name, both in the stadium and in chants.
Corinthians faces Palmeiras in the Paulista Derby, contested since 1917 and considered one of the hottest in Brazil. The matches against São Paulo and Santos complete the major events of the state.
Sócrates, an elegant playmaker and a figure of the Corinthian Democracy, and Rivelino, who came up through the club, are its legends. Ronaldo played there towards the end of his career, and Argentine Carlos Tevez shone in the mid-2000s.
The supporter version of Nike has a standard cut: your usual size will give a classic fit. If you're between two sizes or wearing the jersey over another top, go for the larger size.
Wash it inside out, at thirty degrees, with a detergent for whites and without mixing with colours. Dry it in the shade, as direct sunlight can yellow the fabric and dull the badge.
