Founded in 1906 in the Neudorf district, the Racing Club de Strasbourg is the big club of Alsace. It won the French championship in 1979 under the guidance of an Alsatian coach, as well as the Coupe de France in 1951, 1966, and 2001, and the Coupe de la Ligue in 1964, 1997, 2005, and 2019. In 2011, judicial liquidation sent it back to the amateur divisions: the club climbed step by step and returned to the top tier in 2017, supported by a loyal fanbase at every stage of this rebuild.

The Racing back on the European stage
