Handlebars Hex LabAll handlebars Box are designed and manufactured using oversized technology. The handlebars serve a dual purpose as they aid in both steering and pedalling stiffness. By strategically varying the wall thicknesses and tube diameters, Box has shifted material from 3 low-stress areas to high-load zones. This has significantly minimized twisting and contributed to responsiveness. At the same time, Box has increased pedalling stiffness by providing a counter to the "lifting" phenomenon. There's no point in pushing hard on your pedals if you can't pull on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost due to handlebar deflection, which can lead to poor power transfer and steering control. In combination with other oversized components from Box, you will benefit from enhanced responsiveness and reduced latency.
Main differences: Titanium allows exploration of the structural stiffness of steel, but without compromising on weight. It's an exotic solution like carbon fibre, but it delivers a slightly different result for the experienced rider. Carbon will contribute to a more aggressive steering response, while titanium will be very sensitive yet more refined.
