The Acavallo® Ortho-Coccyx dressage saddle pad with 20 mm of classic gel and Dri-lex is the perfect item to ensure maximum safety and comfort. With its innovative design, it protects the coccyx and improves the rider's posture.
The item combines the non-slip and shock-absorbing properties of the classic gel Acavallo® with the breathable properties of Dri-lex, which, thanks to the depression at the back, reduces pressure around the coccyx bones, offering a more balanced weight distribution and therefore a more comfortable and secure seat.
The technical composition of the gel, in addition to supporting the rider's upper body, reduces trauma to the lower abdomen and the animal's neck in case of sudden movements.
The gel is covered, on the upper part, with Acavallo® Dri-lex, a fabric that combines hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers in a unique composite structure in the industry. The inner layer stays dry, while the outer layer acts as a micro-reservoir for sweat and moisture, which is literally evaporated.
The saddle pad is fitted with an elastic strap with Velcro that runs along the bottom of the saddle and attaches to the panels without altering the normal supports of the saddle. On both side parts, the item is equipped with two grip straps that hook onto the inside of the saddle panels, without affecting their normal position. This attachment system allows for the original position of the saddle to remain unchanged, while also providing the elegant design typical of Acavallo products.
