The formed gel it’s made of makes it thicker than a traditional pad, but it ensures double usage, being both non-slip and shock-absorbing. A major advantage is preventing any unwanted movement of the saddle in any direction: forwards, backwards, and sideways. Moreover, the gel can compensate for minor imperfections of the horse’s back, making it suitable for slightly "rounder" backs as well.
