As we're committed to sustainable development, we wanted to develop a new green technology that everyone is familiar with. Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant in the world. It has enormous tensile strength, prevents the penetration of sharp objects and is antibacterial. The Bamboo elastic gaiters are made from a sturdy TPU shell with multiple ventilation holes in the tendon area and a large triangle vent. The tendon area is reinforced with bamboo to prevent penetration. Where the horse flexes, we've added a piece of soft natural rubber to prevent friction. The inside of the gaiters is reinforced with an extra layer of TPU to resist abrasion. We've created our own in-house testing machine that creates a force of 80N when dropped on a horizontal horse leg with a razor-sharp axe. Our Bamboo shield horse gaiters withstand this extreme test method, which cannot be compared to any real impact during riding. The gaiters are also Rico-tested and RCT-certified. Fabrics and materials bamboo elastic vegan sheepskin gaiters are made from our highly breathable vegan sheepskin, which has been used for many years in our famous halter, show rug and girths. The gaiters feature a sturdy TPU outer shell, both lightweight and durable. They feature a robust TPU outer shell, both light and strong, and an additional bamboo insert in the tendon area for optimum protection against impact and penetration by sharp objects, and are also antibacterial. Shape and size Thanks to their anatomical shape, the gaiters adapt perfectly to the horse's leg, offering maximum comfort and protection. This gives the horse maximum freedom of movement for better jumping. The soft, flexible rubber insert under the joint also offers the horse greater comfort of movement. Care instructions Gaiters are machine washable at 30°C (do not tumble dry). We always recommend using a wash bag to avoid scratches caused by washing. You can easily use our gaiter cleaner, specially designed for TPU protectors, to make your gaiters look like new even after use.
