Inside, the shoe is combined with mesh to provide durable foot support and improve stability. The TPU overlays on the toe protection and sides offer abrasion resistance, thereby enhancing durability.
The DUAL FITTING CLOSURE SYSTEM, featuring two independent BOA Dial Z dials, allows for customised fitting adjustments for the instep and forefoot areas, ensuring a precise, quick, and tailored closure without pressure points. The DIAL Z L6, known for its premium aerodynamic design, has an optimised rubber finish for effective and secure grip.
The COMFORT FIT TONGUE includes a high-tech cushioning layer for increased comfort and breathability.

The lightweight carbon sole Gaerne EPS 10.0, developed in collaboration with Michelin®, features a carbon structure ensuring excellent stiffness and lightness for powerful pedalling. The rubber tread from Michelin® provides maximum abrasion resistance and excels even in extreme conditions, while the profile design offers exceptional grip and traction. The spacing between the lugs facilitates effective self-cleaning and quick mud evacuation. With a stiffness index of 10, this sole is the stiffest in the Gaerne mountain bike range.
