We don't know exactly how they did it, because they're MIT grads and we're just a bunch of marketing guys, but they did it. If we had to guess, it's because they threw out all the hot stuff inside the original MA-1 and replaced it with, well, nothing. Now, all that stands between you and the summer breeze is MA-1 VF LW 's rugged nylon flight and a super-thin lining that matches the outer material, except for some incredibly stylish contrasting stitching. The nylon de vol protects your body from all kinds of weather (mostly wind and rain, though) and the jacket's polished, super-shiny zipper adds just the right amount of shine.
