The Puez 2 Knit Powertex is designed to provide a smooth roll and lasting comfort for urban and versatile walks, as well as for mountain hikes on rugged trails and varied terrains. They feature an abrasion-resistant knitted nylon upper reinforced with an external toe cap and a rubber protective sole with a waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane without PFC, along with an eco-efficient alpine hemp midsole.

Circular and sustainable:
Designed with a circular manufacturing approach, the alpine hemp midsole under the forefoot is made from recycled hemp fabric scraps and virgin hemp, reducing the use of EVA, which saves resources and offers a sustainable perspective without compromising performance. The durable laces on this model are also made from a blend of alpine hemp and recycled polyester.

Durable comfort:
Their special trekking shape, double EVA midsole with progressive stiffness, and soft cushioning at the heel upon impact, along with their customizable recycled CFF insole with the provided Volume Reducer, enhance comfort and provide a tailored fit.

Evolving technical solutions:
The Puez 2 Knit Mid Powertex features a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole for grip and traction on technical terrains. At the heart of its structure integrated into the insole, the new Salewa Edging Plate II, a special thermoplastic frame that extends the entire length of the shoes, offers both increased flex and rebound for lasting walking comfort, with specific stiffness and flex levels at the forefoot and heel for targeted stiffness, alongside enhanced stability. Additionally, the 3F system from Salewa, with Kevlar® cables, ensures good ankle support and a snug fit in the midfoot. This system is further reinforced by climbing lacing that extends down to the toes. These trekking shoes feature the Salewa Committed logo and meet our strict criteria for sustainable development and environmentally friendly manufacturing.
