TX Guide is the leather version of the TX Guide, the most technical shoe in the TX series from La Sportiva. It offers the perfect combination of split leather, suede for greater adaptability, and nubuck for abrasion resistance, making it dedicated to technical approaches and climbing. TX Guide Leather is aimed at mountain guides, climbers, and demanding users looking for a high-performance and durable product with a climbing-oriented look and feel. Versatile, lightweight, and protective, it is ideal for approach running-climbing with technical solutions and aesthetic features derived from climbing shoes: asymmetrical and advanced lacing, anti-friction loops at the front, and an overlay tongue for maximum foot support. The enveloping Adaptable Fit shape for maximum performance also provides excellent adaptability to all foot types thanks to the elasticity of the leather. It is well established at the toe and allows you to maintain the edge while climbing. The edge protection inspired by climbing is made from lightweight PU-Tech Lite™ material. The sole/midsole combination consists of dual EVA with cushioning compression at the heel and a stabilizer at the front of the foot: the front part of the midsole is co-moulded with a layer of TPU which also acts as a stabilizer in the climbing zone, medial upper, and protective layer at the front of the foot. The dual compound Vibram® MegaGrip and Idrogrip sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates braking on descents and offers better grip on ascents.
