Are db killers removable? Altering db killer welds or tamper-proof screws, or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, as the open version is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to conduct the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Unique right-side silencer with catalytic converter suppressor; No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlights, and without number plate holders or other components that could conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of warranty on the product. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's cost.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
