The new wheel is light (100g lighter than the previous Ksyrium Elite. despite a wider rim) and still as durable as ever thanks to our patented ISM 4D process. This machining process allows to remove all the excess material between each spoke hole while keeping a sufficient wall thickness where the spoke tension and the stresses are the strongest. These rims are manufactured in our aluminum rim factory at France. The tapered spokes further reduce weight and provide a more responsive wheel. Their patented elliptical shape also saves energy for better performance. Fore technology improves stiffness. The upper rim deck is not drilled, so the rim remains strong and rigid. And it doesn't require a rim tape (30g less per rim). With the new profile of the upper rim deck, mounting and demounting a tire has never been easier. Our UST Tubeless technology reduces rolling resistance and increases grip while limiting the risk of punctures. Our new hub platform Infinity optimizes stiffness and power transfer with carefully tuned spoke tension. The Instant Drive 360 freewheel body. combined with the QRM automatic bearing adjustment. ensures engagement rapide. good stiffness and increased durability.
