Original GPR product, developed from extensive experience in the Motorcycle World Championship, offers an innovative design, improved performance, notable weight reduction and enhanced bike sound.
Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and catalytic converter or tampering with the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with regulations for public road networks.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If you experience issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals, which must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without any bags, without a flashlight and registration plate holder or any other parts that may conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misusing this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, starting from the date of purchase, with repair rights reverting to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
