Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on public roads is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and number plate holder or any other parts that could conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with repair rights returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
