Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it’s still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is supplied, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for the installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and licence plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
