Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with regulations governing public road traffic.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials online including on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on track only, without saddlebags, torch and number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
