The Magura MT8 SL FM is the ultimate competition brake designed to provide formidable braking power, uncompromising reliability, and top-level ergonomics.

Thanks to the Carbotecture SL brake lever and the 1-finger carbon HC lever, the MT8 SL FM is a true lightweight. Carbotecture SL is a composite material that, with its wrapped carbon fibres, is not only light but also extremely strong.

Highly appreciated, the 1-finger HC carbon brake lever is factory-integrated into the MT8 SL FM. It is lighter and stiffer than its aluminium counterpart, allowing maximum performance with the bike. The MT8 lever is also reversible (can be mounted left or right).

The 2-piston caliper of the MT8 SL is forged from a single piece. The result: Despite its incredibly low weight, the MT8 offers the greatest braking power and strength among the 2-piston range. It comes equipped with a pair of magnetic pads.
