Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without a bag, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different angle of gas due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired, the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait a standard time for the repair.
