The new QXL is a Q-Ring with increased ovality. It has the same shape as the standard Q-Ring, to maintain an exceptionally smooth transmission.are for runners with a predominantly fast muscle contraction (Fast Fibers). These are generally the so-called "Powerful" runners, with a muscle mass and a power peak above average (Sprinters for example). For these athletes, a higher ovality allows them to reduce negative work compared to our standard ovality. The QXL is most effective for sprinting or climbing efforts, as it allows for peak power to be optimized while dead spots become more critical.
