Discover the Handlebar Box One Hex Lab STD: optimal strength, lightness, and responsiveness for your unparalleled BMX experience.
All Box handlebars are designed and manufactured using oversized technology. The handlebars serve a dual purpose as they contribute to both the rigidity of steering and pedalling. By strategically varying wall thicknesses and tube diameters, Box has moved material from 3 low-stress areas to high-load zones. This has significantly minimized twisting and enhanced responsiveness. At the same time, Box has increased pedalling rigidity by providing a counter to the "lifting" phenomenon. There's no point in pushing hard on your pedals if you can't pull on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost due to handlebar deflection, which can result in poor power transfer and steering control. In combination with the other oversized components from Box, you'll benefit from improved responsiveness and reduced latency.
Main differences: Titanium allows for exploring the structural rigidity of steel, but without the weight compromise. It's an exotic solution like carbon fibre but yields a slightly different result for the savvy rider. Carbon will contribute to a more aggressive steering response, while titanium will be very sensitive yet more refined.
