Are removable Dbkillers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, and registration plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty and any warranty claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
