The HotForge carabiner with curved finger is a modern version of our classic keylock carabiner, and this fluid system is designed for the rope side of a quickdraw. Its curved finger is easy to clip and the carabiner has a huge rope-working surface for outstanding strength. Hot-forged, allowing us to save weight in places that don't need it and add material where strength is essential, the HotForge has a generous dimension line for easier clipping, and the flat end of the hinge holds the quickdraw webbing securely. The wider working surface of the rope adds strength to both the carabiner and your rope, while the flat parts of the finger reduce the risk of unintentional opening. Last but not least, we've redesigned and improved the geometry of the spout to enable smooth carabiner attachment and removal.
