The Hayes Feel'R Gage tool is the ideal tool for perfect adjustment of disc brake calipers, compatible all makes. The bevelled part of Feel'R Gage first pushes back the pads, without damaging them, when the gap between them no longer allows the disc to be inserted between the pads. Secondly, the "disc" part of Feel'R Gage reproduces the thickness of the disc, making it easy to check that the brake is working properly after a check-up, maintenance or bleeding. Finally, the slats surrounding the "disc" part help to position the caliper correctly and to fix the correct gap between disc and pads to avoid any unnecessary friction.
