The SM7 helmet is designed for off-road competition, combining impact protection and comfort.

• Lightweight and durable composite outer shell.
• The aerodynamic profile of the outer shell is designed to reduce friction during an impact, allowing for effective energy deflection and transfer to protect the rider's head from direct forces, the neck, and the spine.
• With 20 individual intake and exhaust vents, excluding the eye opening, including 13 intakes and 8 exhausts, this helmet is ultra-ventilated.
• Patented visor release system designed to automatically release the visor from the shell in the event of an impact exceeding 15 joules, ensuring optimal protection regardless of the direction of the impact.
• The Plasma technology patented by Alpinestars is strategically integrated into the side foams of the SM7 for high-performance shock absorption in critical areas, significantly reducing the risk of injuries.
• The linings are removable and washable.
• 3D foam cheek pads, emergency removal system (ERS), channel for hydration tube. Interchangeable foams across all sizes.
• The shell and neck padding are elastically connected for better management of oblique impacts.
• Removable top pad that is height adjustable thanks to the A-head system.
• The chin strap is equipped with a 25 mm nylon strap, stainless steel DD rings, and removable covers for washing.
• Shell sizing solution ensuring that each helmet size has its own shell for optimal anatomical fit.
• Three shell sizes (M, L, and XL) and 6 user sizes from XS to XXL for a perfect fit. Improved comfort, better impact efficiency, and reduced weight.
• The fit can be customized with original Alpinestars replacement cheek pads, available in all thicknesses and interchangeable across all shell sizes.
