This double-jointed pelham is often used to assist with control. The double joint with the diamond shape will soften the nutcracker action. Thickness of the bit: 15 mm. Height of the cheek: 115 mm (4.5"), 130 mm (5"), 140 mm (5.5"). The EquiKind+ coating is thinner than a rubber bit, making it more comfortable for horses that don't have room for a thick bit and ideal for sensitive mouths or horses that don't like metal in their mouths. Stainless steel is used for its durability, ease of cleaning, and rust resistance.
