KangaROOS Trainers Ultimate "Octane"

With a growing awareness of sustainability, the idea of using leftovers and creative repurposing is becoming increasingly important. This is exactly what OCTANE represents.

In just two weeks, we set up a production facility that uses only existing resources. Even the production of unnecessary prototypes was avoided thanks to perfect preparation and digital visualization.

A special feature is the use of reclaimed materials from the warehouses of suppliers and Hummel & Hummel Schuhmanufaktur: leather, mesh, soles, lining - nothing has been specially produced. Local resources were used for other "ingredients," such as shoeboxes and labels, to avoid transport trips.

The result: a cool and innovative statement against overproduction and resource waste, with high-quality craftsmanship.
