Etxeondo Short Orhi Hydro

The Orhi Hydro is the result of the demands of professional cycling, where victory or defeat often comes down to the smallest details. When the weather turns unpredictable and the pro rider has to face cold or rain, they need a garment that keeps their body temperature stable while being lightweight and comfortable. If this garment is also water-repellent, victory is one step closer.

It is made from Thermosystem Hydrorepellent, enhanced with the very latest technology from Etxeondo featuring an ultra-fine water-repellent treatment that limits water penetration in rainy conditions, without compromising thermal regulation or breathability. To further optimise water resistance, the seams are minimised and even the rear embroidery has been removed.

The fabric uses lightweight, thermoregulating fibres that maintain body temperature while providing optimal breathability. These quick-drying fibres quickly wick moisture away to the outside. The thigh grip band is extended to offer better coverage on rainy days; depending on its position, it can extend down to the knee.

The Urraki chamois, used by professional cyclists, is a feat of engineering developed by Etxeondo. Designed like a puzzle, it assembles pieces of viscoelastic foam of varying densities, placed precisely according to the areas needing protection. As with all our chamois, no adhesive or printed material is used to avoid allergic reactions or overheating, and it has an antibacterial treatment.

Two strategically placed reflective details at the back enhance the visibility and safety of the cyclist.
