X -TREME - nom is all about maximum durability and all-round protection. The upper is made of specially refined Multishield® leather. With proper care, Multishield® is resistant to slurry, sulfuric acid and alkalis, and suitable for the stable. What's more, it's waterproof, breathable, flame-retardant and mildew-resistant, even in hot conditions. The breathable functional lining in connection with a COA.TEX® membrane makes the boot waterproof and breathable. Moisture in the form of perspiration is quickly transported to the outside. The "Allterain" nitrile rubber tunnel sole (HRO) features excellent slip resistance (SRC) on smooth floors and rough terrain. The foamed midsole cushions the foot gently as it walks, and increases energy absorption in the toe area. A pulled-cover toe protects the shoe from abrasion, especially when working on the knees. The TPU heel protection forms a perfectly matched functional unit with the nitrile rubber sole, giving extra grip and enhancing stability as well as the direction of the shoes.
