The hood is detachable for safety reasons - it easily comes off if it gets caught on something. This product is three coats in one: the jacket has a detachable vest inside, so you can use all layers together if it's cold, or wear them separately when it's warmer. Great reflective details and a soft, comfortable binding around the hood opening and cuffs give it a fun vintage look.
