Relive the history of Panathinaikos FC with this retro 1974/75 shirt from Copa Football, paying tribute to a season filled with success and changes.
The 1974-75 season was marked by changes for the Panathinaikos as the very popular and successful Ferenc Puskas stepped down as coach. He was replaced by Yugoslav Stjepan Bobek, who returned to the club after having success in the 1960s.
It wasn’t a memorable campaign, finishing fifth in the league and losing in the cup final to their fierce rivals, Olympiacos, but legendary striker Antonis Antoniadis ended as the league's top scorer with 20 goals - the fifth time he had won this title in six seasons.
Antoniadis was part of a trio of club legends alongside Mimis Domazos and Kostas Eleftherakis who shone for the Panathinaikos at that time.
