Epoxy skimboard

A lightweight and high-performance shape for skimboarding suitable for all levels: beginner, intermediate, expert. Its epoxy and wood sandwich construction provides more rigidity and performance. Light and fast, this board performs well in all conditions. Its outline and rocker give it good acceleration for tackling turns on the wave. Combining performance and lightness perfectly, this board is very versatile. This epoxy skimboard is also suitable for skimboarding near the beach on a thin layer of water. The stringer (wooden reinforcement bar) in the center of the board offers greater strength, making it more durable over time. The lamination process of our boards benefits from a strict set of specifications to achieve more strength with less weight: climate-controlled lamination rooms to ensure ideal humidity levels for perfect drying (more strength at equal lamination). Vacuum lamination with excess resin drain: the fiberglass needs just the right amount of resin for proper impregnation. The vacuum process allows the resin to enter the fiber, and the excess is evacuated through the drain. Because too much resin equals a heavier board, but above all, a weaker one as the fiberglass becomes brittle.
