Lake Shoes CX302

The CX302 is the ultimate climbing shoe, lightweight yet not compromising on comfort, secure fit, or power transfer. Made from Clarino microfiber, featuring dual BOA® Li2 dials and a hand-made CFC 3K carbon fibre sole from Lake, it weighs an incredible 195 grams (size 44, not including the insole).

Shape

It has a slightly narrower toe box and a snugger heel than the Competition last, with less overall volume than the Sport last. Designed for ultra-high cadence pedalling with a slimmer fit. The wide version offers an additional 15 mm of volume at the forefoot.

Outsole

100% carbon fibre Lake Race sole. Available with a 3-hole cleat pattern. The CX302 employs the patented dual sole system from Lake. The insole is a semi-flexible carbon fibre platform that allows the foot some flexibility at the foot's sole, where it tends to swell, and where hot spots or numbness would usually occur. The insole is suspended above the rigid carbon outsole. This system enables us to use an extremely rigid carbon outsole without sacrificing riding comfort.

Clarino microfiber and mesh with Carbitex medial support panel for a secure fit.

BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, providing precise and micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to withstand abrasion.
