When you're climbing a nice route on the cliff, the adrenaline warms you up, even when the temperatures are low. But it's always better to cover up, especially when you're resting. This rule applies not only to climbing but to all activities done in the mountains and during our leisure time. The Coppolo Merino Full Zip Hoodie, made from a blended wool, features merino wool fibres woven with synthetic elastane and nylon, and is designed to provide softness and comfort in all situations: from the alpine hut to the city centre. Plus, thanks to its special shape, the merino wool yarn guarantees anti-odour properties even after intense use. This hoodie makes us proud of our choices. The wool used is indeed certified mulesing free, a responsible and ethical choice that reflects our philosophy. Mulesing is a surgical practice in which strips of flesh and skin are removed from the perianal area of merino sheep to protect them from infections related to fly attacks that lay their eggs there. This practice is carried out without anesthesia or antibiotic treatment and does not always protect the animal against infections. It's so invasive that it can lead to the death of the sheep. Not agreeing with this practice, we chose a yarn that is indeed more expensive but respects animal welfare.
