The Detection is a frameless sport eyewear developed by Wiley X for excellent eye protection during sports and outdoor activities.
The ballistic lenses are extruded, cut, and heat-formed from shatterproof polycarbonate. They are then coated with a scratch-resistant and anti-fog layer for greater resistance to abrasion and surface damage. The lenses are ballistic-rated and provide 100% protection against UVA and UVB with distortion-free clarity. The set includes five lenses - clear, yellow, orange, purple, and copper-tinted. They are used separately depending on the time of day and weather conditions.
The temple arms and reinforced straps are injection-molded from nylon and are anatomically shaped for better comfort during extended use. The materials used make them lightweight and exceptionally durable. Additional rubber elements on the tips of the temple arms reduce fatigue and increase grip.
