Normally, when denim is dyed, some of the dye is absorbed by the cotton fibres, while the rest is only attached to the surface of the threads. This gives denim its ageing property, which is often sought after. However, when it comes to black jeans, this is not always the case, which is why we developed Everblack denim. The technical difference between Everblack denim and regular black denim is that it uses a method and type of dye that allows for better absorption as well as a stronger fixation. The result is a denim whose colour is much more resistant and does not fade over time with use and washing.
