Surface guidelines

The Quad Lock universal adapter uses a 3M™ VHB 4952 adhesive that adheres to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:

• Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, nylon and acrylic.
• Unpainted metals
• Uncoated glass

The adhesive will not adhere to the following substrates:

• Rubber, TPU, TPE
• Leather
• Silicone
• Hydrophobic-coated glass (also known as nom anti-fingerprint glass, found on the back of most modern smartphones)
• Soft-touch coating or paint
• Low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal and HDPE.
• Wood

We strongly recommend using a case with the universal adapter if your phone has a glass back.

Please ensure that the backing is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the universal adapter.

The 3M™ VHB™ is a single-use adhesive and is not reusable.
