Fibreglass FootPro mesh.

Advantages:
The FootPro mesh provides protection against wear, strengthens and stabilises the hoof capsule and is excellent for therapeutic applications.
It is applied dry with the help of an adhesive that holds the first layer, then it is moistened to activate the resin and harden it.

Features:

Instructions:
1.- Clean the hoof wall with sandpaper or a buffer, including the heel area.
2.- Apply a thin layer of adhesive on the hoof part, leaving at least 2 centimetres space below the hoof crown and heel bulbs.
3.- Start placing the mesh with a slight overlap on the sole. Avoid covering the coronary edge and heel bulbs. Most hooves do not need a full roll, unless extra thickness is desired.
4.- Moisten the mesh with a sponge and water. Then, wrap with plastic film and place the hoof upside down.
5.- Once hardened, remove the material between the heels with a rasp or file, if expansion is desired. Any part that overlaps the groove and furrows should be removed. Take off with pliers.
6.- Ensure that the hardened mesh does not touch the coronary edge or the bulbs and reduce the edges with a rasp or buffer. If we choose to put on a horseshoe, do not hit the nails or make cuts or reductions while nailing.
7.- Make sure to keep at least 2 centimetres uncut at the top of the mesh for optimal durability.
