• 2-in-1 hammer, with a nylon tip on the striking side. Patented design: the only hammer with a mallet tip. Very different from a mallet with a metal tip, it has the weight and power of a riveting hammer instead. A true hammer in its own right, with the safety and non-loosening qualities that Mob is known for. The side faces also allow for additional strikes. Interchangeable mallet tip. Material: TPU: thermoplastic polyurethane. Hardness 80D Shore. Head made of high-carbon steel C45E. Forged head, with induction heat treatment for working surfaces (54 HRC). Working parts finely polished. Epoxy powder coating via an electrostatic process, followed by oven curing. Beveled head, slightly domed. The fitting is done with a hydraulic machine, a force sensor measures the fitting power for each unit, then a pressure sensor checks the placement of the resin. The pull-out performance is much higher than the standards and is the trademark of MOB tools. Composite handle with Carbon quad-material, featuring an unbreakable fiberglass core and 2 carbon fiber bars, vibration-dampening polypropylene, and an overmoulding in elastomer for grip. A dry and precise strike.
