- PressFit: A variation of the GXP external crankset, PressFit reduces weight by up to 40 grams and makes installation easier by allowing you to press the bearing cups into the frame instead of screwing them in. It requires no modification to the length and diameter of the crank axle. Pressfit 30. This is a new design by SRAM. It's all the best of the BB30 and Press-Fit bottom brackets in one captivating package. This crankset is designed for 30mm axle cranksets. The main difference with the PressFit 30 is the way the bearings are mounted in the frame. The bearings are housed in nylon cups that are pressed into the bottom bracket of the frame. PressFit 30 has an integrated seal, pre-assembled in the cups, to extend the life of the bearings. Frames will require a 46mm ID bottom bracket to accommodate this system. The PressFit 30 for road will require a 68mm wide bottom bracket, while the PressFit 30 for MTB will require a 73mm wide bottom bracket.

- X-GlideR chainrings: The chainrings are designed to optimize shifting performance with the Yaw front derailleur. The stiffer rings (5mm 7075-T6 CNC-machined aluminum) feature upshift rivets with an advanced design adopted from SRAM XX. CNC machining allows precise control of the shape of each tooth, the ramp, and almost all of the chainring's shifting functions. The chainrings, chain and front derailleur are designed as a single integrated system for optimized performance. Yaw. The front derailleur cage rotates to maintain a constant angular relationship with the chain. Yaw technology eliminates the need for shifter adjustment. As a result, shifting is more direct, more precise and, combined with the new Red crankset and chainrings, offers an unmatched performance advantage for front shifting.
