Description
A favourite of match anglers in the UK and Europe in commercials and nature spots, this versatile bait can be used in a variety of ways.
It is made by grinding green koi pellets to a homogenous consistency. Due to its fine particle size, it can be mixed to be fairly sticky, perfect for the Feeder Method, but breaks down easily, or can be mixed a little drier, creating the ideal feed for skimmers or F1's or in shallow water creates a fine dispersion of bait that allows the fish to settle and feed without filling up. It is suitable for all species of coarse fish, but is particularly popular with sea bream anglers.
Dai Gribble (angling specialist) says, "Supercrush Green is the best bait for Bream, it forms the basis of my mix because of its strong fishy smell and its ideal colour to attract big sea bream. I mix it with a cut worm and fish it out of a feeder, often applying the same mixture on top to create a large amount of bait for the dorado to feed on")
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Supercrush Green is easy to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of primers into a round mixing bucket, fill a 2-quart fly bucket with water, pour this over the primer and mix well, then leave to stand for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed into the soil primer. Then, for best results. To remove lumps and create a uniform consistency, pass the primer through a riddle and you're ready to use it.
When fishing, the sun and wind may dry the bait slightly, but to combat this, you can cover the mixed bait with a damp towel or, if it dries, add a little water and stir again.
