Polyester fibers mixed with silver ions have a slightly antibacterial effect and increase the sock's tensile strength. Elastane is known to improve elasticity. The high chimney finished with a seamless border is very thin and does not grow. The plush heel and toe area is abrasion resistant. Low mesh on the instep wicks moisture, compression hem around the instep secures the sock so it doesn't roll up.
